We know that Samsung has been targeting Apple directly in its ads for a good season, with the latest example just two weeks ago. But now another company is using this practice again in its promotions: Microsoft . After a period of considerable silence, the Redmond brand has launched three ads where it directly attacks the MacBook Air .

And the ads don’t leave anything out: Microsoft raises its Surface Pro 3 claiming that the MacBook Air doesn’t have a touchscreen, nor does it have enough power to run applications like Photoshop, nor a removable keyboard… We already saw this at the presentation event presided over by Satya Nadella, the strategy is to promote this Surface as the successor to both laptops and tablets.

At the end of the three ads, the same slogan: Surface Pro 3, the tablet that can replace your laptop .

We won’t go into detail about which alternative is better, since each user is a world and there are preferences for all tastes. But it seems that Microsoft has decided to follow the steps of the campaign ” I’m a Mac, I’m a PC ” and compare itself directly with its rival. And not only in the ads, because apparently we will have a Microsoft store very close to the cube of New York’s Fifth Avenue.
