As it happened with the betas, the final version of Catalina 10.15.1 macOS had hidden some clues about the next news from Apple. What the developers have found is an image of part of the keyboard of the 16-inch MacBook , in which you can see how the power button with Touch ID is separated from the Touch Bar.
You can see the image in the header of the article: it is a discreet change from the current 13 and 15 inch models, but which a priori has no functional change. There are rumours that the ESC key would also be separated from the Touch Bar , becoming a physical key again.
At AppleThe 16-inch MacBook Pro would already be in production while the iPhone SE 2 is looking for a display provider
Something that also calls our attention is that the keyboard seems to preserve the controversial butterfly mechanism , when the leaks suggested that we were going to see a return of the keyboard with the classic scissor mechanism. Perhaps we’ll see it in next year’s MacBook, if we rely on other sources.
When can we see this computer in the shops? Since there are already resources on a stable version of macOS we should see it soon , although we don’t think it’s going to be imminent since AirPods Pro is the only release this week. What we can see at any time is the release of the Mac Pro, as it has just received the necessary FCC approval to be sold.
