Apple AirPods are one of the most popular technology products of all time. Bluetooth, without cables, with a careful design and a good audio quality , it is logical to think that they have been a success.
The second generation is priced at 179 euros -229 euros if we want the wireless charging case – but it can be increased considerably if we want an exclusive version, and I do not mean a simple customization, but that they are 18K gold .
Pablo Cimadevila is a Spanish Paralympic athlete who has redirected his life towards jewelry. Through his YouTube channel, which has more than 2.2 million subscribers, Cimadevila likes to show the process of creating his works. In his latest video he shows how he has transformed simple AirPods into a luxurious piece of 18K gold.
To create the “AirGolds” (that’s how their creator has nicknamed them) takes a lot of skill. In the 11-minute video, you can see how he carefully disassembles them, creates a gold mould and reassembles them without damaging them so that they work perfectly and, who knows, they still sound even better.
If there is anyone interested in buying them we are sorry to say that their creator does not intend to put them on sale . Cimadevila says that the idea of making golden AirPods came from Apple’s “Think Different” campaign.
