Advanced photo search

The Apple Photos application has improved a lot over the years and is now really powerful and thanks to Siri’s artificial intelligence it is able to detect and recognize the elements present in a photo. This means that you can perform an advanced search for animals, people, places or locations such as a beach or a swimming pool, cities and almost anything else you can think of.

This is a very interesting feature, especially if we have thousands of photos saved and we want to look for a specific one that we do not have located. All you have to do is enter the Photos app, click on Search below and type in the photo you want to find.

Convert a web or email to a PDF

Thanks to iOS 13 a fantastic new feature has arrived that allows us to take a full screenshot of a web or email and transform it into a PDF . No doubt this can be very useful at many times and, best of all, it is very easy to do.

All you have to do is take a traditional screenshot , press the lock and volume up button on the iPhone with Face ID and the lock and home button on the iPhone with Touch ID. Once the thumbnail of the screenshot appears, click on it and then on Full Page . You can crop the area you want and share it via PDF.

Undo and redo with a 3-finger gesture

I’m sure that at some point you’ve found yourself writing a text, copying and pasting, and inadvertently deleting something you shouldn’t have. Well, your iPhone includes a simple undo and redo gesture. All you have to do is slide with 3 fingers anywhere on the screen to the left to undo and to the right to redo. Simple.

Locate your car parked in Maps

The Maps application has improved a lot since its release and also includes a function to quickly know where we have parked the car, and best of all it is something completely transparent to us . However, we should make sure that we have some settings activated.

  • You must have Location enabled from Settings ?
  • Now go to Settings , Maps , Show parked car.

Now when you disconnect from your car’s Bluetooth or CarPlay your iPhone will automatically save the location and a small icon of your car will appear when you enter Maps.

You can play games from iMessage

iMessage is Apple’s messaging platform and it not only includes the fun Animoji and Memoji, it also includes games to spend time with your friends. Within an iMessage chat, just click on the App Store icon and download them to play.

Your iPhone includes its own dictionary

Yes, you can easily check the meaning of a word thanks to the dictionary included in iOS. The first thing you have to do is add the languages from Settings> General> Dictionary . Now you have two ways to look up the meaning of a word in the different languages you have selected. You can do this from the Spotlight, by scrolling down in the Home screen and looking up the word , and among all the suggestions its definition will appear in the dictionary. You can also select any written word and click on Consult in the menu that appears.

Share a folder via iCloud
