Last night Apple ended up apologizing for the lack of transparency it has had with users by slowing down the battery of iPhones that had a worn-out battery due to age. This didn’t satisfy users because in addition to their iPhone being slowed down by the operating system, they have done so without giving any explanation to users. Apple promised yesterday more transparency, something that is appreciated, and a battery replacement plan for the end of January, of which we did not know the price in Spain.
Replacing the iPhone battery to improve performance that deteriorated since Apple without your knowledge will not be free (unless you have a warranty) . Funny, isn’t it? Apple is to blame for having to change your battery to restore your device’s performance but will have to go through the checkout, that is, with a discount (thanks Apple, I don’t know what we’d do without you).
In the United States the price to make a battery change was going to be 29 dollars, and today we have been informed that the conversion will be respected, costing in Spain 29 euros. To give you an idea they have made a reduction of 60 euros as it used to cost 89 euros.
This replacement plan is available to all users who have an iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X.
Please note that you will have to go through the checkout process whenever your iPhone does not have a warranty (i.e. older ones). If you have a warranty, you will not have to make any refunds because it will be under your warranty.
Leave us in the comment box what you think about this plan from Apple.
