Lo mejor de todo para Pokémon GO es que en este 2020 se esperan muchísimas novedades , como el reciente modo “Aventuras con tu compañero” o el modo combate multijugador que llegará este año con la Liga Pokémon.

Pokémon GO completely revolutionised the world more than three years ago , and no matter how you look at it, you’ll always see someone trying to catch the famous creatures. As time went by, a large number of users stopped playing, precisely when the best new features were introduced.

However, Pokemon GO has achieved a rebound that has made the year 2019 the best in its history in terms of income . All the new features we have seen this year have been rewarded and the game is in its best moment.

As usual, our friends at Sensor Tower have provided us with this great data. They have confirmed that Pokémon GO earned $894 million in 2019 , which is 10% more than the already good revenue for 2018.

As you can see from the table above, the first year Pokémon GO broke all records by exceeding $830 million in revenue, despite having been launched in the middle of the year. The following year, in 2017, the data dropped due to the drop in the number of players, however both 2018 and now 2019 have seen significant growth making last year the best year in the history of the game.

In addition, Pokémon GO is a unique case that differs from most mobile games in that it generates more revenue on Android than on iOS . According to Sensor Tower , Android users spent $482 million, while App Store users spent $412 million on the game. This should be logical, since Google Play represents 69% of downloads in 2019.
