Today was the day Apple chose to make the reservations for its flagship , the iPhone X. Since 9:01 a.m. when the order period opened, the delivery time has been extended .
The earliest ones managed to make the reservations with delivery for next Friday, November 3rd. As the hours passed, the delivery time stretched further and further even reaching the record set by the AirPods at the time, 6 weeks late.
The iPhone X has gone on sale in 55 countries in this first batch and has been released in two models, with 64 GB and 256 GB of internal storage, at a price of 1,159 and 1,329 euros, respectively.
And the saying goes, “a river of mud, a fisherman’s profit”. It didn’t take long for ads for these iPhone X to appear on some sales portals that some buyers have already booked to put up for sale. The prices are outrageous, we are talking about more than 2000 euros for the 256 GB model.
We don’t know if there will be people willing to pay that amount of money for having the exclusivity to own it that day , but it is clear that if there is supply it is because there is possible demand from users.
We recall that the iPhone X was presented last September 12th at the Steve Jobs Theatre, and has been a breakthrough in what Apple has been offering since 2014. It is a terminal that has the largest screen ever mounted on an iPhone , 5.8 inches, OLED edge-to-edge screen, Face ID, among other innovations.
The A11 bionic processor is 70 percent faster than its predecessor and Apple’s commitment to this tenth anniversary model is a declaration of intent . Are you going to buy this terminal? Are you willing to pay that money to have it next Friday? Tell us in comments. We are waiting for you.
